Meet our new Senior Backend Developer

The Wattsense backend is the nerve center that allows our customers to access, configure, and control their equipment remotely. At Wattsense, we describe ourselves as a connectivity solution for the building management sector. In other words, we create a bridge between our customers and their buildings, and this link can’t happen without the backend.

We are excited to have Mickaël Mauger join Wattsense as a Senior Backend Developer. He has a Master 2 in Computer and Information Sciences from the SUPINFO International University. He worked as a technical advisor for a team of developers in charge of the be ys Cloud portal, a secure French Cloud, and in Almerysas as a tech lead in developing applications and services for health insurance companies.  

Role at Wattsense

As a Senior Backend Developer at Wattsense, Mickaël will continue to develop the API and the different services connected to it. He will be in direct contact with the Frontend, QA, Embedded, and Support teams to ensure the scalability of our solution in terms of performance and architecture.

He will work closely with our CTO, Mohamed Zenadi, to define the specifications and architecture of backend features and attend to topics such as data storage and security.

Secret Weapon

Even though he spends a lot of time in front of the screen dealing with the virtual world, Mickaël is not a stranger to living creatures, and he enjoys taking care of his animals, he has cats, a dog, and three horses:  two shetland ponies and a PFS mare.
